 Airports There are two airports located within an hour of Gulf Shores: Pensacola (PNS) is served by Northwest, Delta, US Airways and Continental. Mobile (MOB) is served by Delta, Continental and Northwest.
General Travel From Mobile: Take I-10 East to I-59 (Gulfshores Parkway) then follow directions for individual home. (If adventuresome, take the seasonal ferry across Mobile Bay). From Atlanta: Take I-85 South to Montgomery, AL. Merge onto I65 South. Continue to milemarker 37 and take I59 (Gulfshores Parkway) into Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores is about an hour from I65 and you will pass through many small towns, several of which enforce speed limits, um, zealously).
